Sitka Vancouver is a retail pop-up concept store located in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver, BC.

For Sitka Apparel Studio Roslyn aimed to recapture the magic and rich childhood memories of Canadian camping culture by embracing the true “pop-up” nature of retail space. Using a material palette inspired by outdoor camping equipment of the 1960’s, the space offers a sense of nostalgia and play that is uniquely West Coast. By keeping shelving and racking installation minimal, the rich eccentricities and details of the 100 year-old building are accentuated so as to shine: exposed electrical and oversized baseboards are painted heady red while the plaster walls are freshened with soft blue hues.
